Travelling to and from Neath
Neath has a centrally situated Train Station. Every region of the England, Wales and parts of Scotland are linked by train up to every hour every weekday either direct or with no more than one interchange en route. Paris, Lille and Brussels are all easily accessible to Neath at least eight times a day via Eurostar and London. Mondays to Saturdays
- Two trains each way every hour between 0700 and 1900 then approximately every hour thereafter.
- Two fast buses per hour (X5) from 0805 until 1735 then 1905. Buses return from Swansea every half hour from 0835 to 1805. These buses are non-stopping and take 22 minutes for the journey.
Sundays & Bank Holidays
- Trains run each way approximately every hour at less regular intervals. On Bank Holiday Mondays, weekday schedules are operated. If travelling on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays it is advisable to check times with National Rail enquiries 08457 484950
- Buses - local service (158) operates via Skewen and Jersey Marine every hour from 0856 to 1956 taking 32 minutes. Buses return from Swansea every hour from 0930 to 2030 and take 30 minutes for the journey.

Mondays to Saturdays
- Two trains each way every hour between 0700 and 1900 then approximately every hour thereafter.
- One fast bus per hour (X4) from 0900 until 1700. Buses return from Port Talbot every hour from 0927 to 1627. These buses are limited stop and take 22-23 minutes for the journey.
Sundays & Bank Holidays
- Trains run each way approximately every hour at less regular intervals. On Bank Holiday Mondays, weekday schedules operate.
- Bus service No. 227 operates from 1305 to 2105 and is a slow, stopping service taking approximately 40 minutes.
