The X63 bus, running several times a day, is an excellent link to some key National Park attractions (Henrhyd Waterfall at Coelbren, Craig y Nos Country Park, Dan yr Ogof Showcaves) and Brecon.

Swansea to the Heart of Wales by Train

One of Wales most outstanding train journeys is the 121 mile link through the scenic heart of Wales between Swansea and Shrewsbury. En route, there are lots of interesting places to visit; Llandeilo, Llandovery, Llanwrtyd Wells, Llandrindod Wells and Knighton, all can be visited there and back in a day. There are trains at 0915 and 1316 on weekdays permitting all day or afternoon options and at 1106 on Sundays (with live music the first Sunday each month).
