Attractions in Gower easily reached by Bus

There is an excellent range of Bus services linking Swansea with the Gower Peninsula. Gower Explorer on weekdays runs every hour on both north and south Gower routes and there are guaranteed connections (sometimes at less frequent intervals) to reach some of the smaller places. First Cymru operate a third route to Pennard, also every hour. 

First Day Swansea Bay tickets allow unlimited travel for a day or week between Swansea and all of Gower.

Gower Heritage Centre:  a vibrant crafts and rural life museum with an 800 year old water-powered corn and saw mill and working woollen mill. Bus 117/118 from Swansea Bus Station, alighting at Parkmill Shepherd’s.

Mountain Boarding Centre:  situated at the spectacular Weobley Castle, there are lessons for beginners and ‘improvers’, Bus 115 or 116 from Swansea Bus Station, alighting at Weobley Castle.

Parc-Le-Breos Riding Adventures:  a friendly, family run riding centre based at a Victorian hunting lodge. Ride through some of the most peaceful areas and spectacular scenery in Wales. Bus 118 from Swansea Bus Station, alighting at Parkmill Shepherd’s (1mi/1.6km; call 01792 371636 for pick up).

Perriswood Archery & Falconry Centre:  get taught the ancient skill of archery under expert tuition; plus falconry demonstrations and more. Bus 118 from Swansea Bus Station, alighting at Perriswood.

Surf School in Llangennith:  situated at Hillend Camp Site (0.5mi/0.8km from bus terminus), there are lessons for beginners and ‘improvers’. Buses 115 or 116 from Swansea Bus Station, alighting at Llangennith Terminus.
