Coming to Swansea by train
Swansea has a centrally situated Train Station. Every region of the England, Wales and parts of Scotland are linked by train up to every hour every weekday either direct or with no more than one interchange en route. Paris, Lille and Brussels are all easily accessible to Swansea at least eight times a day via Eurostar and London. The airports at Cardiff, Bristol, London Heathrow and Gatwick all have excellent rail/air links to Swansea. Here is a selection of cities and airports with good train links to Swansea.
Taxis are readily available outside the Train Station. Buses: the Metro 4 or 4A will take you direct to the city centre, University and Liberty Stadium. For Buses to Mumbles, Gower and other out of city destinations, take the Metro to the Bus Station and change there.
